Terms for buying from The Tools
Last updated: 28 October 2026
1. Who we are, and who takes your payment
The Tools are made by HL Group Ltd (“we”, “us”), trading as The Football Analysis Guy. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 15761496. Contact: [email protected].
Link (Onelink), Stripe’s checkout service, is the seller of record and takes your payment. We make the Tools and are responsible for the files and for delivering them. Link also works out and pays any VAT due on your purchase. Link’s own terms cover the payment, its receipt and its refund process: onelink.com/gb/terms. These terms cover the Tools themselves: what you get, your licence, and our promises to you.
2. What you are buying
Each Tool is a digital download.
- Match Report Lite (£29.99) and Match Report Master (£49.99): editable match report templates for PowerPoint and Keynote, sold separately. Each download holds a PowerPoint template, a PowerPoint file, a Keynote file, a Get started guide (PDF) and a Team colours folder.
- Upgrade from Lite to Master (£20): if you buy Lite, you get a one-use code that takes £29.99 off Master. It works only on Master and only once. You keep your Lite licence and get the Master files under these same terms.
- Launch price: with the code LAUNCH25, Lite is £22.49 and Master is £37.49. The code works for the first 50 kits sold across both kits. It can’t be used with the upgrade code.
- Prices include any VAT. Outside the UK, Stripe may show the price in your own currency.
- Your download link works three times. Save a copy of the files somewhere safe. If you run out of downloads or lose the link, email us and we’ll send you a new one.
- The kit’s examples are placeholder material, and its example data is not real. Replace them with your own.
2A. How your order works
You choose a Tool and check your order on Stripe’s checkout page before you pay. Link (Onelink), Stripe’s checkout service, is the seller of record and takes your payment. We make the Tools and are responsible for the files and for delivering them. Your order is confirmed when your payment goes through. You then:
- land on a thank-you page with your download button
- get an email from us ([email protected]) with the same download link
- get a separate receipt from Link
Your bank statement shows “ONELINK* TFAGUY”.
We don’t keep a separate copy of your contract, so please save or print these terms. The contract is in English.
You must be 18 or over to buy, or have a parent or guardian’s permission.
3. Your licence
When you buy, we give you an individual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the files. It has no end date, and it ends only if you break these terms.
The licence belongs to the person who uses the files. If a club or employer buys a Tool for a member of staff, the licence belongs to that person.
You may:
- use the files for personal learning and projects
- use them professionally, including in your own work for clubs, players, coaches, clients and your employer
- edit and adapt them
- share finished reports and exports with the people you work for
- publish finished reports, for example on social media, a blog or a portfolio site, as long as the template files themselves are not shared
You may not:
- resell, share, give away, rent, lend, sublicense or distribute the template files, or any part of them, whether free or paid
- upload the files or parts of them to any website, marketplace, shared drive or template store
- use them to build and sell competing templates or kits
- remove our credits or notices from the files
- pass the files on to someone who has not bought them
One person, one licence. Each purchase covers one person. For a team, buy a licence for each person.
You own your reports, not the kit. You own the reports, charts and exports you make with the files. We keep ownership of the templates, layouts, graphics and designs themselves, and of any part of them that stays in your work.
Our credits stay in. The files carry this notice: “© HL Group Ltd. The Football Analysis Guy. Licensed to the buyer for personal and professional use. Do not share or resell.” Don’t remove or change it, or any credit in the files.
Accepting these terms. Before checkout opens, you tick a box to confirm you accept these terms. Its wording is in section 7.
4. Fonts
The templates use General Sans for headings and Albert Sans for body text. Both are free.
- No fonts are included or embedded in the files. To see the layouts exactly as designed, install both fonts yourself: General Sans from Fontshare (ITF Free Font Licence) and Albert Sans from Google Fonts (SIL Open Font Licence). Each font’s own licence applies to your use of it.
- If a font isn’t installed, the layouts still work with a substitute font.
5. No affiliation
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any football club, league, governing body, data provider or software maker. The templates contain no real club names, crests, kits, league marks or player names. You are responsible for any club names or data you add yourself, and for having the right to use them, including following any data provider’s terms.
6. What we promise, and what we don’t
We promise that the files will work as described and be of satisfactory quality.
We do not promise that using The Tools will get you a job, a result, a promotion, a win or any improvement in performance. They are tools. The results depend on you.
The Tools need compatible software: PowerPoint 2016 or later, or Microsoft 365, on Mac or Windows; or Keynote 12 or later on a Mac. Google Slides is not supported. In Keynote, the arrows are drawn shapes rather than linked to data, and team colours are changed by hand.
7. Your 14-day right to cancel, and when you lose it
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For a digital download, you lose that right once the download starts, if you have agreed that it can start straight away and acknowledged that you lose the right to cancel.
Before checkout opens, you tick this box:
“I accept the Terms for buying from The Tools. I want the download to start now, and I understand that once it starts I lose my 14-day right to cancel.”
If you don’t tick it, you can’t buy. Our order email confirms what you agreed.
8. Faulty or wrong files
By law, digital content you buy must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If a file is faulty:
- Email us. Tell us what’s wrong and which software you use.
- We’ll repair it or send a corrected file.
- If we can’t fix it within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you can ask for a price reduction or a refund.
- If faulty files damage your device or other digital content, and that’s because we didn’t use reasonable care, we’ll repair the damage or compensate you.
9. Refunds
Email us at [email protected], or ask Link through your receipt. We refund in these cases:
- You were charged twice, or for a payment you didn’t make. Always refunded in full.
- The files don’t work or won’t open. We first send you a fresh download link. If the fresh copy still doesn’t work, we refund you. Section 8 also applies.
- The kit never arrived. We check our download record. If your link was never used, we send you a fresh one, and refund you if you still can’t get the files.
- The kit isn’t as described. We compare what you tell us with what the product page says. If there’s a real difference, we refund you.
None of this affects your legal rights in section 8. Refunds go back to the card or wallet you paid with, through Stripe, within 14 days of agreeing the refund. When we make a refund, your download link stops working.
We don’t refund a change of mind once the download has started (see section 7). Link (Onelink), which takes your payment, has its own refund terms at onelink.com/gb/terms and decides refund requests made to it. If Link refunds you, your download link stops working.
10. Updates and Club members
We may release updates. They’re free to anyone who bought that kit, but we don’t promise any.
Match Report Master is included for members of The Club. Members keep what they downloaded if they leave, and get updates only while they’re members. If you buy a kit and later join The Club, you don’t get a refund or credit for the kit.
11. Our responsibility to you
If you buy as a consumer: we are responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights.
If you buy for a business: we are not responsible for loss of profit, business, data or opportunity, or for indirect loss.
Whoever you are, we never exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
We are not responsible for what you do with your own reports, including decisions made from them, unless the problem was caused by our breaking these terms or not using reasonable care.
12. Privacy
How we use your information is in our Privacy notice. Stripe and Link (Onelink) handle your payment details under their own privacy notices.
13. Changes, law and disputes
We may update these terms for future purchases. The terms in force when you buy apply to your purchase.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can bring a claim in your local courts. If you live in the EU, you also keep the protections of your country’s consumer law.
If you have a complaint, email us first and we’ll try to put it right.
